Dog Walks and Drop-In Visits

24-Hour Cancellation Rule:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance: No charge

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled service: Full payment required

Overnight Pet Sitting Services

3-Week Cancellation Policy:

Changes and Cancellations More Than 3 Weeks Before Start Date:

  • Full refund available

  • Schedule changes accepted at no additional charge

  • No penalties apply

Changes Within 3 Weeks of Start Date:

  • Schedule changes will be considered on a case-by-case basis

  • Approval depends on availability and circumstances

  • A change fee may apply to significant changes of the time frame

Cancellations Within 3 Weeks of Start Date:

  • Cancellation fee of 50% of total service cost applies

  • Remaining 50% will be refunded

  • This policy helps us maintain our schedule and compensates for lost booking opportunities

General Cancellation Terms

Weather-Related Cancellations:

  • Services may be cancelled due to severe weather conditions for safety reasons

  • No charges apply for weather-related cancellations initiated by Chasin’ Your Tail Pet Care

Emergency Cancellations:

  • Pet health emergencies that require immediate veterinary attention

  • Family emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis

  • Documentation may be required for emergency cancellation exceptions

No-Show Policy:

  • If no one is available at the scheduled time and we cannot reach you, full payment is required

  • This includes situations where access to your home cannot be gained as planned

Refund Processing:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for booking

Holiday and Peak Season Services:

  • Special cancellation terms may apply during holidays and peak seasons

  • Holiday policies will be communicated at the time of booking
